Terms and conditions of entering prize draws on social media

Participation is only possible by: 

• Commenting and/or liking the Swiss Volunteer Facebook/Instagram post (unless otherwise communicated in the post).

Conditions of participation:

• Participants must be at least 16 years old.
• Each person is eligible to participate only once.
• Participants must have a volunteer account registered on the Swiss Volunteers platform.
• Only persons residing in Switzerland can participate.
• The competition begins with the post from Swiss Volunteers and ends after 24 hours. If a different prize draw period is communicated in the post, this period will apply.
• The winners will be selected at random from all valid entries, in camera, after the end of the competition period. The decision will be made by lot.
• The organiser of the raffle is Swiss Volunteers.
• The raffle is in no way connected to Facebook or Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Facebook or Instagram.
• There will be no cash payment or exchange of the prize.
• The legal process is excluded.
• In the event of attempted fraud and/or technical difficulties, Swiss Volunteers reserves the right to terminate the competition.
• Swiss Volunteers also reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition if abuse and/or violations of these conditions of participation are suspected/detected or if there are other important reasons.
• Swiss Volunteers is entitled to make adjustments to the competition mode at any time and to suspend, cancel or prematurely terminate the competition if there are important reasons for doing so.
• In principle, the prizes are not transferable.
• No correspondence will be entered into.

Privacy policy:

• The winner* will be communicated with first and last name on Facebook or with profile name on Instagram.
• The winner will be notified by private message. Winners will be asked to contact Swiss Volunteers via private message. The prize will be forfeited if the winners do not contact Swiss Volunteers within the specified period.
• Employees of Swiss Volunteers and their family members are excluded from the competition.
• Furthermore, we reserve the right to use submitted entries for further content production.
• The participant agrees that photos, videos, sound and text contributions submitted by him or her may be disseminated.
• The personal data of the participants will only be used for the execution of the competition.

By participating in the competition, the user accepts these conditions of participation.
