UCI Road and Para-cycling Road World Championships Zurich 2024
From Saturday, 21 September to Sunday, 29 September 2024, the UCI Road and Para-cycling Road World Championships Zurich will make history in the city and canton.
In 2024, all of Zurich will get on their bike. From Saturday, 21 September to Sunday, 29 September 2024, the UCI Cycling and Para-Cycling Road World Championships Zurich 2024 will make history in the city and canton. For the first time, male and female para-athletes, elite riders and juniors will compete for the coveted rainbow jerseys at the same Championships. Individual time trials, team competitions and finally the elite road races will bring the Championships to the people and to the thrilling finale at Sechseläutenplatz in Zurich.
Witnessing the UCI Road and Para-cycling Road World Championships up close is a unique experience. Volunteer work is of the utmost importance for the success of this major event. You have the opportunity to help in the following areas:
- Infrastructure
- Services
- Sport / Race
- Communication
- Supporting events
- Sustainability
The deployment locations are Zurich, Winterthur, Uster, Gossau ZH or along the route.
When helping out at the World Championships
- food and drink will be provided throughout the entire outreach programme
- you will be provided with an appropriate uniform
